Corporate & Brand Video Production Cost in India 2026

Corporate & Brand Video Production Cost in India 2026

Video production cost in India: the short answer

"Ek corporate video banane mein kitna lagega?" The honest answer is that a video can cost anywhere from a few thousand rupees to several crore. A simple Instagram Reel shot on one location is a different job from a national TV commercial with actors, sets and multiple shoot days.

To help you plan, here are typical market ranges for 2026, compiled from publicly available Indian pricing guides such as Content Cabinet and IRPR Agency. These are not fixed prices. Your quote depends on scope, and GST is usually extra.

Type of video Typical 2026 market range
Social media Reels / short videos from around ₹50,000 to ₹1.5 lakh for a professionally produced short ad; simpler Reel packages can cost less
Product video shoot around ₹20,000 to ₹1 lakh for simple shoots; more for styled or demo videos
Corporate video (per finished minute) around ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 basic, ₹60,000 to ₹1.5 lakh mid-range
Brand film commonly ₹3 lakh to ₹15 lakh
Digital ad film from around ₹50,000 for entry-level, up to ₹20 lakh for bigger productions
TV commercial usually ₹20 lakh and up; celebrity campaigns go much higher
2D animated explainer (60 seconds) around ₹40,000 to ₹1.2 lakh

Different studios and agencies in Delhi NCR quote very differently, so compare what's included, not only the final number.

What affects the cost of a video?

1. Pre-production: concept, script and storyboard

Good videos are planned on paper first. Concept development, scriptwriting, storyboards, location recce and shot lists take time, but they save money on shoot day. The clearer the script, the fewer surprises.

2. Shoot days and locations

Each additional shoot day adds crew, equipment and logistics costs. Shooting in one office in Noida is simpler than shooting across a factory in Ghaziabad, a store in Delhi and an outdoor location in Gurugram. Permissions for public places add time and cost.

3. Crew size and equipment

A small crew with a camera, lights and sound is enough for many corporate interviews. Ad films may need a director, director of photography, gaffer, art team, stylist, make-up artist and production staff, plus cinema cameras, lenses, drones or gimbals.

4. Talent

Using your own team members costs nothing extra. Professional actors, models, anchors and voice-over artists are paid per day or per project, and usage rights (how long and where the video runs) affect their fees. Celebrity talent is a different budget category altogether.

5. Sets, props and art direction

Product videos and ad films often need set design, props and styling. A clean studio backdrop is affordable; a fully built set is not.

6. Post-production

Editing, colour grading, motion graphics, sound design, music licensing, subtitles and multiple versions (16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, 1:1 for feeds) all add to the cost. Ask how many revision rounds are included.

7. Animation and VFX

2D and 3D animation are priced by complexity and duration. 3D product animation and VFX-heavy work need specialist time.

Choosing the right type of video for your goal

Corporate film

Best for introducing your company to clients, investors or new employees. Usually 2–4 minutes, featuring leadership, facilities and work culture.

Ad film

A short, focused video made to sell a product or idea. Usually 15–60 seconds, often in several cut-downs for different platforms.

Product video

Shows the product clearly: features, use cases, unboxing or how-to. Essential for e-commerce stores and marketplaces.

Reels and short-form content

Fast, frequent and platform-native. Many brands get better value from a monthly Reel package with planned shoot days than from one-off videos. This works best when tied to your social media marketing plan.

How to brief a video production agency

A good brief gets you a better video and a more accurate quote. Include:

  1. Goal: What should viewers do after watching? Enquire, buy, apply, trust you more?
  2. Audience: Who is this for? Customers, B2B buyers, recruits, investors?
  3. Platforms: YouTube, Instagram, website, LinkedIn, TV, trade shows?
  4. Duration and versions: One main film plus how many cut-downs?
  5. Key messages: The 2–3 things viewers must remember.
  6. References: Videos you like (and don't like), and why.
  7. Locations and people: Where to shoot and who will appear on camera.
  8. Budget range: Sharing a realistic range helps the agency suggest the best idea for it, instead of guessing.
  9. Timeline: Launch dates, events or campaigns the video must be ready for.
  10. Approvals: Who signs off on the script and edits.

Ways to get more value from your video budget

  • Batch your shoots: Plan a corporate film, product shots and several Reels in the same shoot day.
  • Shoot for multiple formats: Capture vertical and horizontal versions on set to avoid costly reshoots.
  • Reuse footage: Turn one brand film into ads, social posts, website banners and presentation clips.
  • Lock the script early: Changes after the shoot are the most expensive kind.
  • Promote it: A great video with no distribution gets few views. Plan a paid boost on Meta or YouTube.

FAQs

How much does a corporate video cost in India in 2026?

Published 2026 guides put corporate video at roughly ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 per finished minute for basic work and ₹60,000 to ₹1.5 lakh per minute for mid-range production. Premium brand films cost more. Your quote depends on shoot days, crew, locations and post-production.

How much does an Instagram Reel shoot cost?

It varies widely. Simple Reels shot in one location cost far less than scripted ads with talent and multiple setups. Monthly Reel packages with planned shoot days often give better value than one-off Reels.

How long does it take to produce a corporate video?

Simple videos can be delivered within a couple of weeks. Corporate films and ad films with scripting, multiple shoot days and several revision rounds usually take a few weeks to a couple of months.

Do I need professional actors?

Not always. Real employees and founders often come across as more authentic in corporate films. Ad films and product videos may benefit from professional talent, which adds to the cost.

Who owns the video after the project?

This should be written into your agreement. Make sure you get the final files and clear usage rights for music, talent and footage for the platforms and period you need.
